Kristee Liu / make up

Growing up in Southern California, Kristee Liu was exposed to various incarnations of art and culture. With a love for technology and a passion for the arts, she began her career path as a 3D animator. Kristee soon discovered that the human face was her favorite canvas with cosmetics as her medium of choice – and dived into pursuing a career as a make-up artist.

It was during a fateful shift at the MAC Store at Caesars palace in Las Vegas that Kristee met legendary singer Cher, who quickly hired Kristee to be her personal make-up artist for her residency at the world-famous concert venue beginning in 2008. Kristee continued her work with Cher on the 2014 Dressed To Kill Tour, followed by the 2017 Classic Cher engagement in Las Vegas and DC, a surprise performance at the 2019 “Camp” themed Met Gala, and is currently with her for the ongoing Here We Go Again tour.

In addition to touring with Cher, Kristee works closely with some of the biggest names in print and on the red carpet. Her work has appeared in editorials including Elle, Vogue Japan, Teen Vogue, Instyle, Playboy and Jalouse, and she has worked alongside photographers Claiborne Swanson Frank, Thomas Whiteside, Sasha Eisenman and Mariano Vivanco. Current celebrity clients include Kathy Bates, Brenda Song, Emily V. Gordon, Kelly Wearstler, Aimee Carrero and Ross Butler.

Kristee is currently based in Los Angeles, and travels frequently to Las Vegas, New York and internationally for work.
